Butter Cookie Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened and slightly melted Approximately 227 g
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Approximately 118 g
  • 2 cups all purpose flour Approximately 256 g

Instructions
 

Baking Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line 2 large baking sheets with silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add butter and sugar. Cream at highest speed for about 5 minutes or until light and fluffy.
  • Add in the flour. Mix in at low speed and then gradually increase speed once flour is incorporated.
  • Add dough to a piping bag and pipe cookies onto the baking sheets, spaced 1 inch apart. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until edges and surface start to turn a light brown. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring.

Notes

Best to bake one sheet at a time for even browning. Optional to add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to the dough for added flavor.
