Ingredients
  

  • 2 packages cream cheese 8-ounce each
  • 1 medium scallion cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 small jalapeño pepper trimmed and halved
  • 4 sprigs fresh cilantro plus more for serving
  • 1 medium lemon or lime juiced
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries thawed if frozen
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • Cinnamon pita chips for serving

Instructions
 

  • Place 2 packages of cream cheese in the bowl of a stand mixer. Let sit at room temperature until softened.
  • Prepare the scallion, jalapeño, cilantro, and lemon/lime, adding each to a food processor as you complete it.
  • Add cranberries, sugar, and salt to the food processor. Pulse until finely chopped.
  • Beat the softened cream cheese until light and creamy. Transfer to a serving plate and spread into an even layer.
  • Use a slotted spoon to spoon the cranberry-jalapeño mixture over the cream cheese and spread it evenly. Garnish with cilantro leaves if desired. Serve with cinnamon pita chips.

Notes

Cover the dip with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 3 days. The cranberry-jalapeño mixture can be made up to 1 week in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
