Meat

  • 2 packages bulk pork sausage 12 ounce each

Vegetables

  • 1 medium bell pepper chopped
  • 1 medium onion chopped

Potatoes

  • 3 cups frozen hash brown potatoes

Cheese

  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese divided

Dairy

  • 2 cups milk

Baking

  • 1 cup Original Bisquick mix

Eggs

  • 4 large eggs

Spices

  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish; set aside.
  • Cook sausage, bell pepper, and onion in a medium skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sausage is no longer pink; drain and transfer to the baking dish.
  • Stir in potatoes, and 1 ½ cups cheese until well combined.
  • Stir milk, Bisquick, eggs, and pepper together in a bowl until well combined. Pour into baking dish.
  • Bake, uncovered, until a knife inserted in center comes out clean, 40 to 45 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with remaining ½ cup cheese. Continue to bake until cheese melts, 1 to 2 minutes more. Cool 5 minutes.
