Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 250 g Linguine Spaghetti can also be used
  • 250 g Shrimps Scampi or Garnelen

Sauce

  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 3 EL Butter
  • 2 EL Olive Oil
  • 100 ml White Wine
  • 150 ml Chicken Broth
  • 50 ml Cream
  • 1 whole Lemon Sliced
  • Lemon Juice To taste
  • 1 pinch Chili Flakes Or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • Grated Parmesan To taste
  • Some Parsley For garnish

Instructions
 

Cooking Pasta

  • Cook the linguine according to package instructions until almost al dente.

Prepare Sauce

  • Heat butter and olive oil in a frying pan. Add minced garlic and sauté lightly.
  • Add the shrimp and cook for 1 minute on each side. Add some lemon slices.
  • Deglaze with white wine, then add chicken broth and cream. Let everything reduce a bit.
  • Season with salt, pepper, chili flakes, lemon juice, and sugar.
  • Mix in some Parmesan and half of the parsley into the sauce. Combine with pasta and heat briefly.

Serve

  • Plate the pasta. Garnish with remaining parsley and some grated Parmesan.

Notes

Do not overcook the shrimp as they can become tough. Alternatively, you can poach the shrimp in heated chicken broth for about 4 to 5 minutes and then mix directly with the pasta.
