Cooking Instructions

  • Soak the lentils in water for at least 1 hour.
  • In a pot, heat the olive oil and sauté the chopped onion, garlic, and carrot until soft.
  • Add the lentils, diced potatoes, and peppers; stir well.
  • Add the tomatoes, bay leaf, spices, and water. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 30 minutes or until the lentils are tender.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
