  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Soften the cream cheese for easier mixing.
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1.5 cups Bisquick
  • 10 ounces can Rotel tomatoes with green chilies, drained Make sure to drain well.
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese Recommend shredding your own for best flavor.

Preparation Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place sausage, softened cream cheese, drained Rotel tomatoes with green chilies, shredded cheese, and Bisquick in a mixing bowl. Mix with an electric mixer to combine.
  • Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes or until cooked through.

Notes

Make sure the internal temperature of the sausage balls reaches 160 degrees F. Don't over mix to avoid tough sausage balls.
